The Australian Government predicts there will be between 25,000 and 50,000 new jobs in early childhood education by 2022. This is a 20% increase in the number of bachelor’s degree qualified teachers currently needed.
In response to this clear need we developed Future Tracks – a new social enterprise designed to attract and support the next generation of early childhood teachers.
Working in collaboration with Australian universities, governments, and the early education sector, Future Tracks provides early learning professionals with a new way to deepen their knowledge, skills, interests and impact, with access to dedicated professional pathways in teaching, policy and early childhood development.
The program provides mentoring and leadership opportunities to students while they complete a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. After the first year, students earn a good income while working in an early learning centre, ensuring they’re job ready when they graduate.
Future Tracks will grow a community of teachers and leaders, so that more children will reach their true potential.
