Lisa is a professional non-executive director of a variety of commercial and for purpose boards, spanning a wide range of sectors. She was previously the Chairman of The Benevolent Society, Australia’s oldest charity, which supports children and families, older people and people with a disability through the delivery of services and advocacy. The Benevolent Society was a founding member of Goodstart Early Learning, consistent with its long held support of and commitment to investment in the early years of children’s development.
In her earlier career, Lisa was a partner of law firms Maddocks and Blake Dawson (now Ashurst) where she held a number of senior management roles, including Sydney Managing Partner and Executive Partner with responsibility for the Property Projects and Government group and people development strategies. Lisa practised law for over 30 years, specialising in commercial property.
Lisa has a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Tasmania. In 2004, Lisa completed the Advanced Management Program at INSEAD in France and, in 2006, the Australian Institute of Company Directors course.
Lisa is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a member of Chief Executive Women.
