Our Reconciliation Story
Our Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan outlines the Front Project's activities that aim to strengthen recognition of, respect for and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories & truth telling, and individual and organisational cultural capabilities.
This plan serves as a foundation for our reconciliation engagement moving forward.
The artwork on the front cover, Bawurra, painted by Kamilaroi Bundjalung woman Katie Bugden, illustrates the Front Project's reconciliation journey and cultural learnings throughout the years.
Each individual icon reflects elements of working together, community connection and progress. It tells the story of connection, strength, relationships, moving forward with Reconciliation, and listening to First Nations' voices.
Bawurra translates to Red Kangaroo in Gamilaraay language, which mirrors the strength and resillience needed for everyone to progress their reconciliation journeys.
